Right Way Movers & Storage

The company, Rightway Movers and Storage, LLC, DOT number 3201464, was hired for a move that was expected to take place 8/24/19-8/25/2019 with a down payment of $1,000. The company did not inform me that they contracted a third party mover and their website says that they have their own trucks (False Advertising Instance #1). I received notice from Rightway that I would have my pickup on 8/24 between 1 and 6 PM. With this information, I began driving down from my apartment in MA to PA for the move. I had planned to drive back to MA that night, as they told me that I would have my move that day, via voicemail and email confirmation. I received a call from Integrated Moving Solutions on 8/24 at 11:30AM to inform me that my move would be on 8/25 between 8-11AM. I had to scramble to get care for my pets and to get food and sleeping accommodations, as all of our bedding was already in MA. Rightway never informed me that they contracted out so I did not know if this was legitimate. I had to have my move this weekend, so I proceeded to go with it. However, I researched the company, Integrated Moving Solutions, and learned that they have an F with the Better Business Bureau and also have been involved in countless complaints that have resulted in people losing great sums of money. I attempted to call Rightway Movers, who claim that they have 24/7 customer service on their website (False Advertising Instance #2), only to find that they will not answer calls or emails over the weekend. I had no way of issuing my complaint regarding Integrated Moving Solutions. I proceeded, regardless, to determine if Integrated Moving Solutions looked authentic when they arrived. They arrived around 12:30PM on 8/25, an hour and a half late, in a hardly marked truck. Neither individual had a contact with Rightway Movers so I told them that I could not do service with them. They got confrontational and only left after persuading them to leave. On Monday, 8/26, I contacted Rightway Movers to inform them of my exceedingly poor service that I had received from them and from their contracted mover. They proceeded to tell me that they did not understand why I was cancelling and that Integrated Moving Solutions is a great and reputable business. At this point I told them that I just wanted my down payment back in the amount of $1,000. They told me that they would cancel my service and I would be contacted by the billing department regarding my refund. On Wednesday, 8/28, I reached back out to Rightway Movers to try to get information regarding my refund to find that they have blocked my number and will not reply to email. I have since issued a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Transportation but neither has heard back from Rightway Movers and Storage LLC. I feel that I have been deceived by Rightway with their false advertising and claims. Additionally, I feel that Rightway is hiring less than adequate movers and not informing their customers so that they do not have time to research the mover before they arrive. This was what happened with me and I was left with few to no options if I wanted my belongings to be safe. My main complaints are false advertising which led me to my decision and poor customer service when told of my complaint to the point that they lied about a refund and blocked my number, which I would think is all that is needed to help somebody not make the wrong decision in the future. I hope this finds you before you decide to hire this company.

This is not the company RIGHT WAY MOVERS out of Oceanside CA. This company is using their name. This company is a broker and subcontracts out to scam artists! If you care about your life and collected possessions, run away from these people!! They doubled my moving estimate, kept $1000.00 over what they were to be paid. They will not respond for my refund. These people contracted out to TR MOVING SERVICES.. DO NOT use the RIGHT WAY moving BROKERS!! You will be very sorry. They have over 30 complaints with the BBB. I am now using legal counsel.

This is very embarrassing for me but I don’t want someone else to make the same mistake I did.

Not sure if these are their real names but Jason Carlucci and Jordan Lance scammed my family and I out of several thousands of dollars for a move that was scheduled but never happened. The day of the move, June 28th, 2021, we realized we were stood up when 3pm rolled around. I tried to contact both Jason and Jordan but no answer. Their business doesn’t even have an answering service. We were lucky that our credit card company refunded us our money but be aware of these guys and their so called moving company/companies. Jason gave me a long story about how he’s from Jersey and him and three of his brothers run this business and blah, blah, blah. It hooked me in and I fell for it. I have never felt so foolish in my whole life. I hope people read this BEFORE agreeing to pay these guys anything. They use several different company names as well. If you hear JASON CARLUCCI or JORDAN LANCE with any of their “companies”, run like hell. You’ll be much happier going with a brand name you can trust.
